We booked two rooms at American Inn for a quick stop on our way to a family reunion. Both our families were traveling together and just needed a comfortable place to rest for the night. Honestly, we didn’t have high expectations, but the pictures online made the place look solid. We arrived around 8 after a long day on the road, ready to check in and grab some dinner. Pulling into the parking lot, we immediately felt welcome—the lot was well-lit, and the other guests seemed friendly and relaxed. Check-in was smooth and quick. Our rooms, 101 and 102, looked exactly like the photos online. Clean, well-kept, and inviting. The beds were not very luxurious but pretty comfortable, the bathrooms were different - one with a shower, another one with a bathtub. We slept well and woke up refreshed, ready to continue our journey.

Me and my Fiancé are staying here right now, this is our second week here and so far so good, no complaints, only compliments.
The rooms really have been remodeled, I stayed here a long time ago back in 2018 and it's like a whole new hotel.
The beds comfy and new, the pillows are fluffy, the shower is very hot and stays hot for a long time, and has an adjustable shower head on it and everything works like it should. They even have a remote to the AC/Heater. It's -3° right now and we are snug and warm.
It's very quiet, and you get all the privacy you could possibly want. The owner is a cool guy, very nice and respectful, and so is the maintenance man.
If you are looking for a cheap yet clean and safe place to book a room we highly recommend this place.

The new owner of the american inn has completely changed that place around..he is a very nice gentlemen and helped me out when i was in a bind with all hotels booked... He remodeled all the rooms they were very clean and is always so polite. I highly recommend staying there. He has turned that place around completely and works his butt off keeping up on it..highly recommend!

Nothing to actually complain about. The deposit was $100 but came back within a day or so (on a debit card). Nice service. Tidy room. There was a fly or two. But no bed bugs!

Overall, my stay at the American Inn was very enjoyable. It provided great value for the price, with comfortable accommodations and friendly service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly option without compromising on quality.!
